Challenge

Traditional used car purchasing in Germany suffers from a lack of transparency: sellers must visit dealerships, negotiate at length, and often wait days for a response. For vehicles with engine damage, accident damage or transmission problems, the situation is particularly difficult — many dealers reject such vehicles outright or offer well below value.

AutoAnkauf52 needed an end-to-end digital platform that covers the entire process — from initial evaluation to instant payment. At the same time, the platform needed to be GDPR-compliant, optimized for AI search engines, and suitable for both B2C private sellers and B2B fleet managers.

Our Solution

We built AutoAnkauf52.de as a modern full-stack web application from scratch: Next.js 16 with App Router, a 4-step vehicle evaluation wizard with photo upload, specialized SEO landing pages for engine damage/accident vehicles/transmission damage, a complete admin panel with 7 modules (Dashboard, Requests, Users, Email Logs, Settings, Schema Markup, CAFE Framework) and integration of the CAFE Framework with all 7 strategic layers for maximum AI visibility.

Digital Vehicle Purchasing — From Form to Instant Payment

AutoAnkauf52.de digitizes the entire used car purchasing process in Germany. Instead of driving to a dealer and negotiating for hours, sellers can evaluate their vehicle online, set their desired price, and receive a binding offer within 24 hours.

SPA State Machine — Single URL, Complete Customer Journey

The entire user experience runs under a single URL (/) as a Single Page Application with client-side state transitions. The browser back button is supported via popstate. The 4-step wizard progressively collects vehicle data:

  • Step 1 — Vehicle: Brand, model, year, mileage, fuel type, transmission, engine power
  • Step 2 — Condition: 4 damage categories (accident/paint/engine/parts) with detail text fields
  • Step 3 — Photos: Drag & drop + file picker, Base64 encoding, server upload
  • Step 4 — Contact: Personal data, postal code, city + GDPR consent

At the end, the seller optionally enters their desired price — the evaluation is deliberately not automated but performed by experienced experts.

SEO Landing Pages for Special Segments

7 standalone landing pages with deep domain expertise were created for the most important vehicle segments:

  • /motorschaden — 8 damage types (piston seizure, timing belt failure etc.), 8 symptoms
  • /unfallwagen — 8 accident categories (hail, water, fire, total loss), photo tips
  • /getriebeschaden — 8 transmission types, repair vs. sale cost comparison
  • /firmenkunden — B2B fleet purchasing with 3 SLA levels
  • /ki-bewertung — AI-powered vehicle evaluation in 3 steps
  • /unser-versprechen — Fixed-price guarantee, SEPA instant timeline, photo checklist

Landing Page — 15 Sections for Maximum Conversion

The main page consists of ~15 sections: Hero with integrated Step0 form (brand/model/year/mileage), sticky trust badges (fixed price, SEPA instant, 24h pickup, WhatsApp), how-it-works process, advantages grid, fixed-price guarantee banner, 20 car brand logos, Trustpilot widget, damaged vehicle teaser, B2B CTA and FAQ with Radix Accordion.

Admin Panel — 7 Modules for Complete Control

The dark-themed admin panel with DE/EN language support includes:

  • Dashboard: 4 statistics cards, recent requests table
  • Vehicle Requests: Search, status filter, pagination (10/page), quote sending via Gmail API
  • User Management: Superadmin/Admin/Employee roles, Active/Inactive status
  • Settings: Company details, notification settings
  • Schema Markup: JSON-LD schema editor with page-based management
  • Email Logs: Send history, type filter, error tracking
  • CAFE Framework: Most comprehensive module (1109 lines) — BrandLock, llms.txt, Schema.org, E-E-A-T, Entity SEO

Technical Infrastructure

Deployment is on a DigitalOcean VPS with Nginx as reverse proxy, PM2 as process manager, UFW firewall and Let's Encrypt SSL. The database comprises 7 PostgreSQL tables with Prisma ORM.
